Spent post-exam weekend going on a retail therapy! Must say it's been quite fulfilling and quite an eye-opening experience. I finally realised how muchI've been missing out by not going out there to explore! Weekend markets are so crowded and busy, makes me feel like I've been deprived for a very long time.
Saturday: Visited Camden Market and Stables Market. It's like a Bugis Street in Singapore, many stalls selling clothes for about 15 pounds for dresses and 10 pounds for tops. Many shops selling identical items so you can be pretty much guaranteed low prices. But there is still room for negotiation (perks of being a student!). There's also an ASOS outlet store there which has amazing discounts(: bought a bag myself there with extra 30% off so I was quite happy haha. There's also a huge food market that sells all kinds of food, not to mention a donut place which Yanting got her donut from. Pity that the rain was intermittent and the wind was very strong ><

Sunday: Visited Bricklane and Spitafields Market finally(: Bricklane market is open on Sundays from 9-5pm. But we took about an hour to get there because many of the tube lines were closed >< sigh so we took a detour and changed about three times before getting there. Bricklane market is full of vintage clothings and it's like a "pasar malam" we have in Singapore. A lot of bargains for household items, second hand clothings and there are also many stores selling identical dresses like those found at camden market. Didn't manage to buy much cause the sizes didnt fit very well and vintage clothings are kinda extreme in design. What was surprising was the number of food markets found there! Bought gelato from a road side store which tasted amazingly good!
enjoyed the weekend! and looking forward to everyone finishing their exams and going out hahaha
