Was on shuffle mode on my itunes today and Ms Lim's voice suddenly sounded from one of the soundtracks. This caught my attention and I realise it was playing a recording of Sakura from StNics. I then decided that I missed choir songs a lot and googled hwa chong choir on youtube.

I'm currently listening to Basque Lullaby that got us the absolute winner in olmouc 2 years ago. And as I listen I'm tearing because I realise I'm really missing being part of the Hwa Chong Choir - I miss the jitters of standing in front of Ms Lim and feeling the stress when she scolds the choir. I miss the times when Ms Lim jokes around with us when she's in a happy mood. I miss sectionals with A2s and trying my best to pitch everyone right and draw the emotions out. I miss seeing and laughing at Loyee and Sebastian when they are conducting the choir. I miss talking to the choir after practice with jiarong. I miss baking for everyone and seeing everyone's smiles when they eat the goodies. Going overseas with hwachong choir (if i hadnt mentioned before) was the best experience in my JC life. I think being able to sing at YOG would come second after that.

I miss being a hwach chorister. and miss singing. a lot.

Looking forward to join voices next year and be inspired by the awesome seniors and batchmates again.
