I feel happy. Not because of my excellent results (it wasnt to my expectations, although I wouldnt say it's bad at all), but because everything is finally over(; perhaps more of a relief you can say.
I'm happy also because my friends did generally well and we pulled through all of these together. Yesterday the grades was not really the highlight of the day, rather, being able to catch up with friends and find out what they were doing really made my day.
I'm happy also because some friends who didnt do as well were still positive about things. It's true. A levels dont determine the rest of your life. It's what you make out of things that happen to you that counts. That's life. Experiences are shaped by how you respond to the things that happen to you. If you don't make it overseas, studying local may turn out well because you get to stay with your friends and family here. If you don't make it into uni this year, taking a gap year or going to poly may bring you exciting experiences and new acquaintances. A lot of people I meet at work or at mps don't graduate from uni. But they excel in life all the same. And they are happy people. It's the benchmark that you set that counts.
I'm happy because through this experience I discovered that I'm blessed with many things that I used to take for granted. I've put things better into perspective and know what matters in life and what doesnt.
Whatever it is, all the best to all my friends, and im sure we'll all end up happy where we choose to go^^
