This is my second semester at Harvard! Haven't posted since I've graduated from UCL and went into Harvard so this is pretty exciting. Wanted to penn down some of my thoughts/resolutions for the year to organise my thoughts.
So, for 2016, in particular to my final semester as a student:
Lifestyle
1. Wake up early, Sleep early, Get work done in the morning
2. Work out (yoga especially) in the evening/afternoon, and with friends (:
3. Work towards head stand for yoga hehe
Academic
4. Be more concise in note writing and essay writing.
5. More efficiency in doing readings in stead of typing everything out.
6. Be more thoughtful in vocalising thoughts
Mindset
7. Embrace failure as learning opportunities, always remembering that learning is the main objective
8. Be more chill in life and not having to maximise every single second by rushing
Relationships
9. Spend more time with people, and make it quality time
10. Love meeting new people and deepening existing relationships
11. Treasure old friends and family and know that they are always the most important people in your life
12. Be able to remember people better - faves, problems, endeavors, and make a conscious effort to always say hi and smile :)
Love life more! and that it is the people and experiences that make the difference(:
Problems I'm currently struggling with:
1. Academic tension - don't be a perfectionist in grades and ability!!
2. Getting adjusted back to readings and studying - instead of being lazy
3. Feeling motivated and being in a flow when doing any activity, feel like I'm counting down everyday instead of feeling excited everyday, not sure why. Being in harvard was a dream, and should still be a dream I'm living to the fullest, instead I'm looking forward to graduating and for my parents to come. That's a really strange feeling I have to try to change
Giving thanks to G, my family, my friends here, and back at home(: people make so much difference to my life it's an amazing journey so far (and more to come!)
okay happy with this, and moving on! till the next post(:
