I have to pen this down, before i leave, before the end of term and before the end of our comp.
The past term has been absolutely wonderful, i cannot ask for more. It gave me a huge sense of satisfaction and achievement, amongst all the worry, stress, despair and grief. A huge rollercoaster ride i think, i've never experienced so much in my life before. problems with family, friends, cca, acads etc etc.
I think i would have thought i would never be able to survive this term, going home at 11pm after cca and then having to burn the midnight oil to finish tutorials. or just crash when i get home and not do tutorials. or having to study for econs test on the day itself 12.30am then slp at 2am and wake up at 5 to study again. ><
and i really regretted not spending as much time with my family as i used to. and not watching tv anymore eeps. but then school has been really fun and exciting. and cca has been quite different, practicing with the alumni. it just dawned on me today thatyesterday was the last prac i was gna have with them in hwach, ever again. cause after comps everyone will be back to their normal lives, and it'll just be college and no alumni. gna miss them quite a lot D:
i've learnt a lot from them, really. seeing how good they are, and talking to them. i think the greatest takeaway is to learn how to focus. mental strength really does wonders. when we're 100% focused, we produce so much more than we ever do. and i think that's really the weakness of our batch, compared to the alumni. and i think the alumni gives ms lim a lot more reassurance than we do because of that, and they put their heart and soul into every piece of music. it's quite inspiring the way they work sometimes.
in a few more hours time ill be on board the plane to france and czech republic. must treasure this time caues i know it'll turn out to be one of the most memorable events ill have this year. a totally new experience overseas(; im looking forward to it a lot (though quite stressed cause i havent finished packing gahhhh..>!) k thank you so much 10s78 for being so supportive of choir concert, og 26 also, the many in class who chiongs tuts with me everytime and let me copy the lectures/tuts i miss and giving me encouragement in some way or another, teachers (esp mrs lim), thirteeners esp ying, kai, doey, jen, siming for your tender loving care <3, bloop and reb, and ny juniors(;
that's all i wanna say. it's been a really awesome term(;
