Hello,I'm back already for about 2 days^^ UK was fantastic haha and before i went i was even regretting that i was going cause of the HJT thing i wasn't even mentally prepared and paid so much money D: i felt so bad eeps.okay let's recount UK in this way.The three things I enjoyed most:1. Trip to Cambridge University <3>
2. Rooming with ying, addie and jinjin cause that just equals tons of fun
3. SHOPPING!! (it was quite crazy...)
The three most memorable events:
1. Cooking instant noodles in something that was meant to boil water oops. if you saw the photo on fb, the inside turned yellow. it took me one hour to cook three packs and we were almost late ^^ but quite ingenious right!
2. The amazing race sheet fell into the lake full of swans and ducks (thanks to ying :/ ahhaha jk) and ying managing to pick it up in the end cause the swan sorta pushed it nearer to us. bet you've never got so close to a swan before!
3. Camwhoring early in the morning on the last day in London (hahahah refer to FB) actually this continued on to the bus, airport and plane XD hahaha
The three most beautiful places:
1. Cambridge
2. Oxford (actually about the same as 1. but the places where HP was filmed was quite exciting)
3. Lake District (the seagulls, the willows and the lake omg beautiful)
The three best meals:
1. They day when Mr Low treated us I cant remember where it is (we had lasagne, chilli con carne^^ and spinach cheese thing plus sides with garlic bread, chicken etc. and waffle toffee crunch and raspberry pie) foc hahaha. thanks addie:D
2. Pizza express (LOTS AND LOTS OF PIZZAS and ying's cake! and ice cream YUMYUM)
3. M&S Sandwich/Wrap (unbelievable right but it tastes so good for less than 3pounds)
The three funniest/happiest thing:
1. Yeujia, amaris shuting eiffel suying that bunch of ppl (not exactly a thing though)
2. Singing on the streets
3. Camwhoring
The three most inspiring event/place/thing:
1. National Coal Mining Museum (i respected the guide a lot a lot)
2. Poetry Session with the Jacob guy (sper sper cool)
3. National Theatre visit (i enjoyed it quite a lot)
The three best buy:
1. Oxford pullover :D its baby pink hehehee.
2. Aldo necklace
3. Newlook dress
yay hahaha.
The best lodging (not three cause the lodging was terrible)
London Travelodge (cause it resembled a hotel, own clean toilet, TV:D, two nice single beds and spacious)
The three reasons why you should go UK:
1. Good food (though pricey)
2. Fantastic Shopping (Cause so many shops like topshop next newlook etc.)
3. Beautiful (every shot i take turns out so pretty cause the scenery is just soso amazing)
Lastly, three things i've taken away from the trip:
1. Have to work really hard + get scholarship to get into cambridge/oxford D: only about 20 international students get in?! and school fees are 24000 pounds a year O.O
2. Must enjoy what you do (we've seenquite a few people with lots of passion for what they do)
3. A newfound liking (not exactly so extreme as to love) for literature (particularly after the Bronte sisters thing, unexpectedly quite interesting)
Oh and we met the BSP group from HCJC there! hahaha saw suyun on the last day, just before we went london. it's quite a small world right.
pictures are on fb, but when i get back to my own comp then ill upload here.
going guangzhou next weeek yay!
