Today's party was quite lovely.
To see how all the juniors planned this surprise party for Ms Lim, how they bonded really well together and decorated the place, prepared the food, had a surprise action plan and all, it was quite heartening. And this is what NYC will become next year, when all of us leave, step down and move on.
To think we hid in M3-C2 today with a cookie cake, matches and candles today. Haha that was hilarious. Ms Lim was quite surprised and happy, and that made us all really happy too.
What I enjoyed most was ultimately Sec 3's performance, and it made all of us Sec 4s even more guilty that we had nothing to showcase. When Ms Lim said Sec fours didn't prepared, and she was fine with it, I felt a little upset and if I were her, I would have felt quite disappointed, since well, it's our last year already and probably our last performance for her.
Sec 3's performance was really quite touching. When they sang in unison, with Tze hui, Bao xian playing the violin and Yvonne the piano, it was all so so wonderful. Then the accapella, roses, necklace, it was so unexpected. It was really well-planned and I'm so happy that the juniors are so bonded and capable. And it made me feel quite sad that we'll be leaving soon.
I'll be missing all of you guys in NYC: the comm, the batch, the section, the juniors, ms lim, mr mac, and all the moments.
