today was passable, i guess hu lao shi already said it's good. All the teachers said well done, thanks for your help, etc etc. but not satisfied with whatever that's done. The process was a lot more memorable than the event itself in fact. It was really unbelievable, considering that we only started last Thursday, rehearsed on Friday for the one and only time, memorized over the weekends (with don't know how many number of calls + smses + emails from lao shi), monday lunch rehearse, monday after school rehearse. and then tuesday morning for four whole hours it was just panic, flustered and more rehearsals. Whatever you guys were watching, the whole video thing, it was not easy. Though on the screen it seemed as those everyone was organised, calm, steady yadayada, in fact those teachers/helpers/students seated at the side, at the control room were all nervous, tense and the atmosphere was rather uncomfortable. you cannot imagine the whews and sighs immediately after the end of the recording.
the details I shan't mention, some issues are quite sensitive. But yesh there were so many last-minute changes which I just simply cannot stand, and but wells, just adapt. I have really earned respect for the newscasters 'cause the way they look, so professional and pleasant looking,
not easy.

On a positive note, I am really amazed that other choirs responded to my appeal. HAHA i sold like another 24 more tickets, wonderful(:
And i really need to buck up for choir. 'Cause last week I was totally drained by sap seminar, i just had no other time or energy to spend on scores. I'm a terrible and phailed SL 'cause I have to admit I wasn't very familiar with scores. In fact, after Friday's rehearsal and today's actual event, I didn't even feel like going (aside that it was pretty late also) but then I didn't want to miss out.
it's like the last concert, and what's more, at the esplanade, I don't want to have any regrets or anythingmmhmm, so leowzhiting you had better go revise and make sure you know every detail of the scores and be ready by thursday, fully recharged.
